On October 9, 2024 at 6pm, Long Island Housing Services, Inc. will hold its 55th Anniversary Gala at Long Island Hilton’s Savoy Ballroom, 598 Broadhollow Rd, Melville, NY 11747. More information, including sponsorships and early bird tickets, to follow.

Please come party with us to celebrate bending the arc of history toward justice for the last 55 years. DJ Steezo is back from when he helped us dance the night away two years ago. The Savoy Ballroom was built for clubbing. And, of course, Ian insisted we end the night with another ice cream bar.

Hilton Long Island Savoy Ballroom

On October 9, 2024, Long Island Housing Services, Inc. (LIHS) will honor Enterprise Community Partners for their outspoken advocacy of fair housing rights, at LIHS’ 55th Anniversary Fair Housing Gala. Enterprise has been led in New York by Vice President Baaba Halm. Long Island Housing Services will host its Fair Housing Gala at Savoy Ballroom of the Hilton Long Island in Melville, NY.

All proceeds from this event will go to support the critical work of fulfilling Long Island Housing Services’ mission. Long Island Housing Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. LIHS continues to achieve the GuideStar Platinum Seal of Transparency

LIHS has been listed in the City & State magazine Long Island Power 100 in 2022,  2021, and 2020. In addition, in 2023 he was named by Long Island Press as a one of their Real Estate Power Players.


Long Island Housing Services is an 55-year-old Civil Rights organization focused on fair housing. Our mission is the elimination of unlawful housing discrimination and promotion of decent and affordable housing through advocacy and education. Since the 1970’s, Long Island Housing Services has served as a HUD-approved Qualified Fair Housing Enforcement Organization and a HUD-approved Housing Counseling agency.
